For road traffic injuries and personal injury claims — prepared by a practising London GP, MedCo authorised, fully indemnified.
The most common category of instruction. Dr Hassan holds MedCo authorisation (DME9367) and prepares reports via the Official Injury Claim portal for whiplash and soft-tissue injuries following RTAs. Reports follow the Ministry of Justice standardised format and include grading using the Quebec Classification of Whiplash-Associated Disorders. View examination locations →
Dr Hassan also accepts instructions for personal injury claims outside the MedCo portal — including workplace accidents, slips and falls, and cases involving more complex injury patterns. Each examination is thorough, and the report clearly documents where findings exceed a simple soft-tissue presentation — as in cases of suspected fracture, nerve involvement, or significant functional impairment.
Where a claim requires an updated assessment — to document recovery progress, deterioration, or revision of the original prognosis — Dr Hassan prepares condition and prognosis reports to the same CPR Part 35 standard as initial reports. These are accepted by instructing solicitors as a continuation of the original medico-legal instruction.
Instructions are accepted directly from solicitors' firms at admin@drsyedhassanreports.co.uk. This removes the delay and overhead of agency involvement. Appointments are typically available within 5–10 working days. Examinations are conducted across seven London and Essex clinic locations.
Every medico-legal report carries the weight of a fully registered, experienced GP — with the accreditation solicitors and courts require.
Dr Hassan prepares two principal categories of medico-legal report — both CPR Part 35 compliant, both accepted for legal proceedings in England and Wales.
For whiplash and soft-tissue injury claims arising from road traffic accidents, the Ministry of Justice requires reports to be prepared by a MedCo-authorised expert via the Official Injury Claim portal. Dr Hassan holds MedCo authorisation DME9367 and regularly prepares these reports across his seven clinic locations.
The report covers mechanism of injury, clinical findings on examination, diagnosis using the Quebec WAD Classification, prognosis with estimated recovery period, and confirmation that injuries are consistent with the reported accident mechanism. Pre-existing conditions and contributory factors are identified and addressed.
For personal injury claims outside the MedCo framework — workplace accidents, slips and falls, assaults, and cases with more complex injury patterns — Dr Hassan prepares full CPR Part 35 compliant reports by direct instruction from solicitors.
Where a claim requires an updated medical opinion — to document recovery, deterioration or revision of prognosis — Dr Hassan prepares condition and prognosis reports to the same standard as initial reports. Available at all seven locations.
Examinations are conducted at seven accessible locations — Central London, East London, and Barking — ensuring claimants can attend without unnecessary travel. View full location details →
